Bertiechap, or Bertie for short, is Gamechaps partner and in the field explosives Expert.
Bertie gives the military a run for their money, he can wire everything to blow. But in combat that isnt always practical. In combat he covers Gamechap at a distance (Usually from the top of Gamechaps house if it isnt rigged to blow).
In a fight he picks off Creepers before they can get close enough to Gamechap to cause damage, he would rather have more gunpowder for his TNT anyway so watching them explode is such a waste. He also is the Counter Sniper of the two, making sure them old Skele's dont get the chance for form a firing squad, let alone the Dreaded Spider Jockey.
Bertie has trouble up close when dealing with loads of Blurrs(Zombies) or the spider swarms, Gamechap provides close quaters defense in this situation.
Even though Bertie can deal no damage to Endermen, he can Keep them away by forcing them to teleport. This can save Gamechap in a pinch.
Between Gamechaps love for Gold and everything that is Justice and Berties Insanely Huge Explosions and his habit of carrying spare melon with him.
There is no swarm these two cant face.
